Thank you for your continued patronage of Takikando Cave and Takikando Tourist Center.

The area around Takikando Cave is becoming greener day by day, and it is starting to look like early summer.

With the reopening of the waterfall-style soba at the end of last month, the full season has officially begun this year.

The annual "Takini Koi Koi Matsuri" (Carp Love Festival at the Waterfall) will be held on May 3rd and 4th.

On the 4th, there will also be a special live performance by a band from Sumita Town,

There will be a demonstration by the Goyozan Matchlock Gun Squad and a commemorative photo session.

Also, on the 5th, which is Children's Day, admission to the cave will be free for elementary school children and younger.

As part of the event, you can try making jade abalone accessories and experience trying on samurai armor, so please come and join us!
