Call for participants for the Waterfall Soba Eating Contest

On May 3rd, a waterfall soba eating contest will be held at the Waterfall Carp Festival.

Waterfall soba is a specialty of the Takikando Tourist Center that has been around since the Showa era, and involves eating soba noodles that flow down a tube along with the clear stream.

This tournament will be held once for each adult and children's divisions, and participants will compete to see how many noodles they can eat within the time limit.

There is no participation fee, but we will have prizes for the winners, so we look forward to seeing you take on the challenge.
