Notice of train service suspension due to rock fall on JR Kamaishi Line

Thank you for your continued patronage of the Takikando Tourist Center.

Due to a rockfall that occurred within the JR Kamaishi Line operating area on Sunday, October 13th,

Currently, service is suspended on both lines between Tono Station and Kamaishi Station, and there is no prospect of recovery.

In addition, some services between Hanamaki Station and Tono Station are also suspended.

We also provide replacement bus services, but please note that Kamiarizumi Station is not on the route.

If you are planning to travel to Rokukando Cave by train, please check the train operation status on the JR East website.
